Monday: Complete Current Events
Analyze and discuss the Wild West
HW: Your textbook! First time this year!  - Read Chapter 17
Read pages 572 - 583. In notebook do questions 1a and 2a on 581 - be prepared!
DUE WEDNESDAY
Tuesday: The Turner Thesis - significance of the frontier in American History Pro's and Con's
Students will examine primary sources.
HW: Homework from Monday. - DUE WEDNESDAY
Wednesday: Go over reading assignment and questions.
Begin Native American study. 2 views - where do you stand?
HW: Textbook - Read pages 584-589
In Notebook: 2b on 589
Thursday: Take a close look at the Ghost Dance. 
Go over assignment. Primary Source in class - Wounded Knee.
Friday: Current Events. Jeopardy. Week wrap up of content covered.

Social Studies - Week of November 10th

Monday: Tribute to Veterans
View Interviews with veterans from World War II to Now.
(If we have time) We will begin Round Table debate on "Reservations Not Accepted"

Tuesday: Veterans Day (No School)
If you see a veteran, thank him or her for their service

Wednesday: Complete Round Table Debate
Analyze Primary Sources
HW: Wild West DBQ - Due Friday (20 pts.)

Thursday: It's all about Math! (But for me it will always be history!!)

Friday: HOW REALLY WILD WAS THE WEST??
Compare and contrast resources, statistics from DBQ
JEOPARDY (if we have time)
